Red Orchard is open to the public from 8 a.m. to dark. 

There are mowed trails for hiking and horseback riding.  Map of the trails can be located under Map & Directions

 On February 15, Shelby County Fiscal Court was granted $42,500 for the parks department for a nature fitness youth trail at Red Orchard Park from the Recreational Trails Grant Program.

 On February 25, the parks department was awarded $10,000 for adult fitness equipment to go on the nature fitness trail at Red Orchard Park from the Shelbyville Rotary Club.
