PROPER SWIM ATTIRE IS REQUIRED (Swim Suits and/or Swim Trunks) 

The indoor pool at the Family Activity Center has become extremely popular with our members and visitors.  The 8 lane 25 yard pool is perfect for exercising or some watery fun.  The depths range from four feet to eleven feet at the diving end.  The pool area features a diving board and ample lounging chairs.

For the smaller children there is a children's pool in the same area.  The depths here are two feet to three feet six inches. Connected to this pool is a fiberglass Frog Slide!  Children enter the pool by sliding down the frog's tongue.

Lamar Forest the Outdoor Frog - Named after Forest Reents, a young boy who loved the frog.

• You can be any age to go down.
• You must go down feet first
• One person at a time only

During the summer, the outdoor Splash Pool is also available for use.

The pool is constantly supervised by our lifeguard staff. 

The indoor pool is open during regular FAC hours, except for special events.  Closing schedules can be found below:

Weekends during regular FAC hours

Water Baskeball
The water basketball goal will be avaialable during regular main pool open swim time with the following exceptions:
Monday through Friday from  5-6:30pm
Please follow these rules for your safety and protection of property:
No dribbling or shooting ball on deck
No dunking or hanging on net or rim
Have Fun!

Sauna 

We have a dry/steam sauna available to our members and guests located on the pool deck. Please respect the following rules (click here) when using the sauna.

The sauna will be turned off weekdays from 1-4pm for energy conservation and cleaning. If you would like to use the sauna during this time please give us a 15 minute advanced notice and we will turn it on for you.

Outdoor Pool Schedule

Inflatable Slide, Giant Beach Ball
The inflatable slide, giant beach ball will be available to public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 until 4pm from June 4th until July 30th.
Available Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30-4pm on Shelby County Fall Break and Winter Break.
